I-84 EB & WB
Median – light pole foundations and pull conduit (west of Washington Street)
Bridges
Bridge 4321 (Hamilton Avenue over I-84)
- Continue to form and pour pier 2 footing
- Install rebar pier 2 stem walls and pier 2 footings
- Form and pour center pier stem
Bridge 1224 (I-84 over Mad River, western crossing)
- Continue pile driving and footing construction for abutment 2
Bridge 5774 (Future I-84 over Mad River, eastern crossing)
- Continue to form and pour abutment 1 stem wall sections
Bridge 6284 (EB Exit 25 off ramp over Mad River)
Retaining Walls
Retaining Wall 112 (EB Exit 23 off ramp)
- Establish drainage ditch, backfill
Retaining Wall 104 (south of EB 23 on ramp)
- Excavate for and install Temporary Earth Retaining System (TERS)
- Continue to place and backfill concrete block sections
- Excavate for leveling pad
Retaining Wall 111 (along I-84, WB west of Pierpont Road)
- Continue to form and pour leveling pad and place concrete blocks
- Continue to construct foundation for overhead sign
Retaining Wall 110 (along I-84 EB, east of EB 25 on ramp)
- Excavate for leveling pad
Sewer Work
Jacking Pit under I-84 adjacent to EB 23 on ramp and WB Exit 23 off ramp)
- Tie-ins to sewer at Retaining Walls 101 and 104
- Install sewer behind Retaining Wall 104 (south of EB 23 on ramp)
Jacking Pit at I-84 and Plank Road (former Exit 24 off ramp)
- Install cofferdam and excavate
I-84 Exit 25 WB off ramp – Scott Rd/Beaver Pond Brook
- Excavate and place new sanitary sewer pipe
Local Roads
Plank Road East (east of WB 25 on ramp)
Reidville Drive
- One lane closed intermittently with alternating traffic
- Excavation and trucking of materials
Rock Blasting
- Rock blasting to occur along Reidville Drive, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday intermittently between 9:30 AM and 11:30 AM.
- Traffic stoppages on I-84, Hamilton Ave., Harpers Ferry Road and Reidville Drive to be implemented at time of blasts for safety reasons.
Waste Stockpile Area (WSA)
Trucking of controlled materials from WSA on Route 322 at Exit 28 to disposal facility (ongoing).
