Construction Update: Plank Road Reopens Today, Monday, October 19

Plank Road at the Mad River crossing reopens to local traffic today, Monday, October 19, 2015.

The I-84 Waterbury Project closed Plank Road, from Harpers Ferry Road to White Oak Lane, in April, 2015, for the construction of a box culvert, relocation of the Mad River, and installation of a new sewer pipe.

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is working to inform local residents of current and upcoming construction activities through project newsletters, press notices, travel alerts, social media, as well as the I-84 Waterbury project website.
