Final Paving of Harpers Ferry Rd. Thursday, December 6

On Thursday, December 6, from 9:00 AM until 7:00 PM, construction crews will be paving the final course on Harpers Ferry Road, from the rock crushing operations north of Hamilton Avenue, through the eastbound (EB) 25 off-ramp intersection, to the southern end of Harpers Ferry Road Bridge.

Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes.

Closures and detours will be as follows:

• Harpers Ferry Road will close between Plank Road and Reidville Drive from 9:00 AM until 7:00 PM. Traffic will detour along East Main Street.
• The I-84 EB 25 off-ramp will close from 12:00 Noon until 5:00 PM. Traffic will detour to the Austin Road, EB Exit 25A off ramp.

Detour signage, variable message signs, and state and local police will provide guidance along the detour route – please see detour routes and map below.

Detour Routes:

Harpers Ferry Road closure between Plank Road and Reidville Drive:
To Harpers Ferry Road from Plank Road

• Right onto East Main Street;
• Right onto Scott Road;
• Right onto Reidville Drive

Eastbound Exit 25 off-ramp closure:
To Harpers Ferry Road via Eastbound I-84

• Exit I-84 at Exit 25A, Austin Road;
• Right at end of ramp onto Austin Road;
• Right onto Scott Road;
• Left onto Reidville Drive
