I-84 Westbound Nighttime Detour at Exit 23 Resumes Monday Night, February 5
Due inclement weather, night work will resume from Monday night, February 5. There will be I-84 westbound (WB) closures and a detour at Exit 23 off-ramp, to facilitate structural steel installation on the Hamilton Avenue Bridge.
Details on the WB I-84 closure and detour at Exit 23 are as follows:
Dates: Monday through Wednesday nights, February 5 through February 7
Time: 11:00 PM to 5:00 AM
Route: Exit WB I-84 via WB Exit 23 off-ramp
- Right at the end of the ramp onto Hamilton Avenue
- Straight onto Union Street (Hamilton Avenue becomes Union Street)
- Stay in left lanes on Union Street for ramp to re-enter WB I-84 (towards Danbury)
If inclement weather causes postponement, work will be done the following night.
