Beginning Thursday night, October 5, I-84 westbound (WB) traffic will shift to the north, from the existing WB 25 on-ramp vicinity, and travel adjacent to the new retaining wall and existing path of WB I-84. Traffic will realign with existing WB I-84 just east of the Harpers Ferry Road Bridge.
On Friday night, October 6, I-84 eastbound (EB) traffic will shift to the north, east of Harpers Ferry Road Bridge, and travel on existing WB I-84 lanes. Traffic will shift back to existing EB I-84 alignment just west of the Scott Road Bridge.
This temporary traffic shift will allow for the continued construction of a retaining wall along future I-84 EB, and the widening of I-84 EB.
If inclement weather causes postponement, for WB shift, work will be performed the following day; for EB shift, work will be performed Sunday night, October 8.
