Bridges
Bridge 4321 (Hamilton Avenue over I-84)
- Excavate and install support of excavation abutment 1
- Excavate pier footing
Bridge 6590 (EB 25 on ramp)
- Pour wingwalls abutment 2 stem walls
- Drill and blast abutment 1 area
Bridge 1224 (I-84 bridge over Mad River, western crossing)
- Backfill abutment 1 to top of stem and remove cofferdam
- Drive piles, abutment 2
- Form and pour abutment 2 footing
- Form and pour first half of stem, and begin to form and pour second half
Bridge 1226 (Harpers Ferry Road Bridge)
Bridge 5774 (future I-84 bridge over Mad River)
- Form EB & WB deck
- Rebar EB & WB deck
Retaining Walls
Retaining Wall 106 (north of WB I-84 west of WB 25 off ramp)
- Continue soil nail and excavation
I-84
- WB: Install sound barrier wall along new WB 25 off ramp
- WB: Fine grade for asphalt – new WB 25 off ramp
- EB: Rock blasting for new EB 25 off ramp from Hamilton Ave. to Bridge 1224
Local Roads
Reidville Drive
- Install drainage (Reidville Drive and Harpers Ferry Road)
- Form and pour cut-off and culvert pours for Culvert 003 (east of rock cut; under Reidville Drive)
- Form and pour cut-off and wingwall for Culvert 1227 (east of the rock cut; under future I-84)
Harpers Ferry Road/Plank Road
- Pipework – Install drainage
Farrell Road
- Excavate and place subbase material (potentially from Wednesday, 4/19)
Night Work
- No night work Sunday night 4/16 – night work will resume Monday 4/17 at 9:30 PM
- Miscellaneous pothole repair and drainage
Rock Blasting
Rock blasting to occur between Hamilton Avenue Bridge and Bridge 1224.
When I-84 needs to be stopped for safety reasons, blasting will occur on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday between 9:30 AM and 11:30 AM. When no traffic stoppage on I-84 is required blasting may occur Monday through Friday from 9:00am – 3:00pm.
Traffic stoppages on Hamilton Avenue to be implemented at time of blasts for safety reasons.
Waste Stockpile Area (WSA)/Temporary Reuse Stockpile Area (TRSA)
Trucking of controlled materials from WSA on Route 322 at Exit 28 to disposal facility (ongoing); Trucking excavated material to TRSA at Exit 30 WB.
