Bridges

Bridge 4321 (Hamilton Avenue over I-84)

• Install protective shielding and protective fence
• Install line striping and salt guard

Bridge 1224 (I-84 bridge over Mad River, western crossing)

• Set crane pad and mobilize for abutment 1 construction
• Install approach slab EB 25 off ramp
• Install parapet EB 25 off ramp

Bridge 5774 (future I-84 over Mad River, eastern crossing)

• Form and pour back walls abutment 2
• Remove cofferdams

Bridge 1226 (Harpers Ferry Road over I-84)

• Soil nail and excavate abutment 2
• Form and pour back wall abutment 1

Bridge 1228 (Scott Road Bridge over I-84)

• Form and pour wing wall footings at abutment 2 (north of I-84)

Retaining Walls

Retaining Wall 106 (north of WB I-84 west of WB 25 off ramp)

• Excavate and grade slope

Retaining Wall 113 and 114 (along both sides of future EB 25 off ramp)

• Install parapet moment slab 113 & 114

I-84

I-84 WB 23 off ramp

• The existing WB 23 off ramp will close November 17 at 9:30 PM. WB Exit 23-bound traffic will be detoured to WB Exit 22 for a 48-hour period.
• Open new off ramp Saturday, November 19 (If weather issues occur, the opening will be delayed until Sunday, November 20).

I-84 EB 23 on ramp

• Close existing EB 23 on ramp and open new temporary EB 23 on ramp west of Hamilton Avenue Bridge
• Cut and fill to subgrade and pave future ramp

I-84 EB (Between EB 23 on ramp and Bridge 1224)

• Drill foundation for noise wall

Local Roads

Hamilton Avenue

• Shift traffic on Hamilton Avenue Bridge to new western portion

Reidville Drive

• Install water utility trench
• Excavation & trucking of materials
• One lane closed intermittently with alternating traffic

Scott Road (Culvert 014 at Scott Road south of WB 25 off ramp)

• Install waterproofing on culvert
• Install sewer
• Install process aggregate and pave

Plank Road East (Culvert 02537 at Beaver Pond Brook under WB I-84 east of WB 25 on ramp)

• Form and pour cutoff footings between Retaining Wall 108 (along I-84, east of WB 25 on ramp)
  and culvert
• Beaver Pond Brook channel excavation

Rock Blasting

• No rock blasting is anticipated this week.

Night Work

Lighting along I-84 median.

Waste Stockpile Area (WSA)/Reuse Stockpile Area (RSA)

Trucking of controlled materials from WSA on Route 322 at Exit 28 to disposal facility (ongoing); Trucking excavated material to RSA at Exit 30 WB.
